The Faculty of Law of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University is a large faculty family, where students from different parts of our country and beyond are studying. All of them are united by a passion for learning, a desire to succeed, and an understanding of the key position of law in a civilised society.

We are proud of our history, our traditions, our tireless and dedicated academic staff, successful graduates, creative students, our achievements and good name, recognised not only in our country but also in many countries around the world.

It seems that in today’s world, nothing surprises you anymore, however, becoming a part of the Faculty of Law, you discover for yourself a new experience of long-forgotten truths every time – the more you know, the more you can do. That is why the Faculty has created a productive, highly effective system for training a new generation of legal intellectuals, which leads to the formation of the state’s professional elite.

Unusual for us today, but acceptable for the next generation of students, teaching methods impress with the results and students’ desire to learn more and become better, motivating them to effective practical training and healthy competition. Modern innovative teaching approaches, indirect control of knowledge by teachers, case studies, and non-standard presentation of information are the priorities that are the basis of the educational process at the faculty.

I wish all the students of the Faculty of Law fruitful, successful, creative and innovative studies, and I wish future applicants to join our legal community and to feel the true ‘spirit of law’. By choosing your own independent path in life, you have a unique opportunity to take advantage of the achievements and experience gained in training highly qualified specialists at our faculty and, during your studies, spend your student years meaningfully, creatively, and imaginatively.
