- more than 400 people enrolled in the full-time department in the speciality D8 ‘Law’ of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education;
- more than 200 people enrolled in the part-time department in the speciality D8 ‘Law’ of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education;
- 100 people enrolled for full-time study in the speciality D9 ‘International Law’ of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education.
While studying at the university, nonresident students have the opportunity to live in the dormitories of the Chernivtsi National University campus.

Full-time students of higher education institutions and citizens of Ukraine, male and female, under the age of 40 are accepted for study on a voluntary basis, if they meet the following criteria:
- have a higher education degree of at least a bachelor’s degree or are studying full-time or part-time at any higher education institution of Ukraine (except for medical);
- suitable for military service for health and moral and business qualities.
Citizens undergo military training at the expense of individuals.
